Blaise Vyner Consultancy was established in 1994 and undertakes a wide range of cultural heritage and archaeology assignments, with a particular interest in major projects, environmental impact assessment and historic landscape analysis and research.

Archaeological project co-ordination and management

Significant experience in assessment and management of archaeology and cultural heritage for major engineering schemes including roads, motorways and other developments includes public inquiries, environmental impact statements, team management and commissioning.

Conservation plans and appraisals

Preparation of appraisal reports and management plans, expertise in the wide range of specialisms need for the preparation of conservation plans, including building analysis, documentary research, archaeological investigation and reviews of natural history and ecology.

Historic landscape management

Familiarity with a wide range of landscapes and experience in the assessment of the heritage resource and preparation of appropriate management plans for all scales of site, from field to landscape.

Site assessment and recording

Desktop survey, field evaluation and survey of archaeological sites and historic buildings from preliminary evaluation, excavation and watching briefs on site works to liaising with consultees, with efficient and appropriate reporting.

Museums projects

Museum facilities and collections assessment and review, scoping reports and feasibility studies, strategy and development, contributions to interpretation strategies.
